Our Lava Turbo Heat Shield reduces turbo lag while protecting other engine components. The turbo heat shields are custom fit and use cutting edge technology to keep heat in the hot side of the turbo where it belongs. The Lava Turbo Shield has a rugged outer layer that is 25% stronger than comparable fiberglass shields, giving them a longer life span. The custom fit design means you do not have to trim or fit the heat shield blanket to fit your turbo housings which makes installation a snap. The silica contact layer and silica insulation, make the turbo shield capable of withstanding 1800°F continuous. Our turbo heat shields are designed for the most hardcore racing applications and street performance.
 

Exhaust wraps help to retain heat in your exhaust system, which incr eases horsepower while reducing radiant heat damage. By wrapping the header and exhaust system it maintains hotter exhaust gases, decreases the density, and allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! Greater exhaust scavenging is produced and lowers intake temperatures: that equals more horsepower. Heatshield Products is the only insulation company that offers two grades of exhaust and header wraps: standard and premium. Both grades withstand 1200°F continuous and 2000°F intermittent. Our standard quality wrap is available with regular or black "Vermiculite" coating and our premium wrap has a special heat coating which allows them to take 1200°F continuous. Exhaust wrap can be fastened with Thermal-Tie™, hose clamps, or wire.
 

Upgrade your heat shield protection with HP Armor™ exhaust heat shield. The outer armor allows it to be cleaned after installation, gives it a long lifespan, and also makes HP Armor™ resistant to the elements. The inner ceramic liner makes it capable of withstanding 1800°F continuous, which allows this heat shield to be placed directly on headers, turbo manifolds, down pipes, and exhaust pipes. It is flexible, easy to cut and install. Our HP Armor™ keeps heat in exhaust system which creates a scavenging effect, allowing exhaust gases to flow out of the system faster. It also prevents radiant heat from entering the driver’s compartment and stops radiant heat damage to other vehicle components. HP Armor™ can also be used as a thermal barrier, simply by facing the aluminized side towards the radiant heat source. For insulation applications use Thermal-Tie™, stainless steel hose clamp, or wire to fasten. For use as a thermal barrier applications use high temperature spray on adhesive, screws, or rivets to fasten. We reccomend the ½" thick HP Armor™ for forced induction and racing applications.

Our original Torch Blanket is made up of silica fabric and our new torch blankets are made of our new Stealth Felt making these welding blankets capable of withstanding 1800°F continuous. We have included brass grommets on the 18" x 18" welding blankets at the corners to make it handy to mount anywhere a quick repair is needed. Our Stealth Felt blankets are black with a dark grey binder around the outside and may be fastened with Thermal-Tie, hose clamps, or wire.
